Ballet Grand Temps Lie

Temps lie, grand [grahn tahn lyay]. Big connected movement. Performed raising the legs 90 degrees. Fifth position right foot front, facing croise. Demi-plie on the left leg and developpe the right leg to croise devant.   Pique on the right demi-pointe en attitude croisee en Pair. Coupe dessous on the left foot, bringing the right foot to retire devant, body en face, and lowering the left arm down in front of the diaphragm. Developpe the right leg to the second position, opening the left arm to the second position. Step on the right demi-pointe, raising the left leg into the second position en Pair. Demi-plie on the right leg and bring the left foot to retire devant, or close the left foot to the fifth position croise and demi-plie, lowering the arms to bras.
