Ballet Sissonne Fondue

Ballet Term Sissonne fondue [see-SAWN fawn-DEW]. Sissonne sinking. Sissonne Fondu sissonne is performed in the same way as sissonne fermee but with a higher jump and with the leg raised to 90 degrees. In closing the step, the second foot does not glide over the floor but is gently placed down in demi-plie in the fifth position or placed sur le cou-de-pied. Performed en avant, en arriere, de cote and in all the directions.
