Social media has had a significant influence on how businesses function. Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook are just platforms to promote businesses and offer new items. They are also excellent for providing customer service and resolving disputes. Their consumer-based features such as instant messaging, email, and feedback buttons assist in communication between customers and companies. In addition to these features, social media is ideal for recruiting new workers.

Furthermore, it is used to raise awareness about political issues and ideas. Businesses use social media as a method of advertising their products and services. The rise in popularity of this online platform has helped many businesses gain more exposure for their brands. Social media does not only promote businesses; it also can help people sell products by promoting their websites.

Social media has become vital in business operations, so much so that the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) asks job seekers to provide their social media handles and professionally present them. The use of social media can help reach out to stakeholders, but it is essential to ensure it does not distract from the purpose at hand (Corbett et al., 2013). It should also be remembered that all social media posts go on display for friends, families, and colleagues. Thus, if someone makes hateful political comments or inappropriate remarks about another person, this can create problems for their career. Social media has the power to motivate a workforce, but it should never be used in such a way as to disrupt work or cause problems between coworkers. Effective use of this technology can make the workplace a better place and help businesses attract more employees.

The use of the Internet at work is growing every day. Today, most large corporations provide employees with computers and connectivity at their workplace; this significantly aids communication between workers and businesses. However, its impact on productivity has not been fully realized because of a lack of proper guidance for using computers for work-related tasks. Social media has the power to motivate a workforce, but it should never be used in such a way as to disrupt work or cause problems between coworkers. Effective use of this technology can make the workplace a better place and help businesses attract more employees.

Companies' use of social media can benefit workers, but it is still essential for them to know when and how to use these technologies. Thus, an annual training session about the appropriate content that employees should not post on social media sites is needed to prevent it from becoming a distraction at work. The ability of companies to communicate effectively with their employees is a necessity in the workplace. This can be easily achieved by offering social media training sessions to employees. By utilizing these techniques and tools, companies can become more effective while remaining focused on their primary goals.

The increased use of social media and other technologies in the workplace has led to a growing number of online resources to help train workers on how best to use them. The Internet is an abundant source for companies that seek to expand their knowledge and find new ways of getting their message out. These sites offer instructional videos, blogs, and webinars on relevant technology topics. They also discuss new advances in computer software, hardware, and gadgetry; employees can use this information to improve organizational efficiency further. Employees are strongly encouraged to attend these training sessions to become more efficient with the technologies provided by their company.
