Determining what students should learn and how they should learn requires a careful analysis of the educational goals, students' needs, and societal values. A holistic approach ensures that the curriculum integrates academic concepts, life skills, creativity, and collaboration, which ensures that the student is transformed into a well-rounded individual. Educators can accomplish this by using several such as experimental learning, and inquiry-based instructions.

What actions or learning environments best facilitate learning? What actions/environments inhibit learning?

According to research, students learn better in an environment where they feel accepted, seen, and valued (The Ohio State University, n.d.). To facilitate better learning, educators should use positive language when teaching, get to know students preferred names and pronouns to make them feel seen and foster open discourse and communication in the classroom. Additionally, several factors can inhibit learning and should be avoided, such as rigid teaching practices, passive learning, and inequitable access to learning resources.
