Sus-sous vs Sous-sus Ballet Term

What is the difference with Sus-sous or Sous-sus in ballet

In ballet sus-sous and sus-sous are two different ballet terms. One mean over and the other means under. Mostly used in the Cecchetti method. Both sus-sous and sous-sus are performed, In fifth position performed sur place or traveled forward, backward or to the side. Dancer springs onto the points or demi pointe. Bring feet and legs tightly together.

The difference with sus-sous and sous-sus is as follows.

Sus-sous is done under-over

Sous-sus is done over-under
