Jacklyn Dougherty Tour saute [toor soh-TAY]. Jumping turn. Dancer’s supporting leg in demi-plie, the working leg raised in grande seconde, in arabesque or attitude. The dancer performs a series of quick little hops, pivoting on the ball of the foot and shifting the heel with each little hop, head spots, turning either en dehors or en dedans.
